Nails... We all have them!
But they are something we don't tend to think about too much when it comes to health. Nail health is so important, especially if you are using press on nails or even acrylics. Below are our top tips for getting those nails in tip top shape to keep them strong and healthy.
An easy one right? Washing your hands to keep your nails clean is really important to keep your nails healthy and strong. A well known method for doing this correctly would be to apply some soap to a toothbrush and gently scrub your nails and the skin around the nail. This will help to remove any dirt you miss when you wash your hands and will also exfoliate any dead skin and it doesn't cost as much as these on shelf products!
2. Consume protein rich foods
Protein is useful for more than just muscle recovery. It helps our nails too and so much more. You do not need to be a bodybuilder to look after your body! This also goes with other supplements a primary one being fish oils, consume the right stuff and your body will take care of the hard work.
3. Take a break
DO NOT GET IT TWISTED.
We LOVE getting our nails done right? It's like a trip to Disneyland with the love of your life but it sadly only lasts around an hour... Buttttt, we do have to take a break every once in a while, mainly for the fact that we could weaken the structure of the nail overtime and that is not healthy.
